BEIJING (Reuters) – A top decision-making body of ’s ruling Communist Party met on Friday to discuss the current situation, the official Xinhua news agency reported.

The report said Chinese President Xi Jinping presided over the politburo meeting. did not elaborate on specifics of what was discussed at the meeting.
