Grain lower, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were lower Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery was .25 cent lower at $ 4.62 a bushel; March corn was 1.50 cents higher at $ 3.67 a bushel; May oats were 1.50 cents lower at $ 1.97 a bushel; while March soybeans was .50 cent higher at $ 8.8020 a bushel.

Beef lower and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle was .23 cents lower at $ 1.3415 a pound; March feeder cattle was .30 cent lower at $ 1.5618 a pound; April lean hogs was 1.80 cent lower at $ .6898 a pound.
