India: Tyre stocks rise as natural rubber prices fall

Tyre stocks were witnessing upward momentum on the bourses on Wednesday after rubber price in international markets fell to its lowest in two weeks. Shanghai rubber futures dropped as much as 6.7% to 13,215 yuan, its lowest since October 31, 2017.

Tyre stocks namely Apollo Tyres traded higher by 3% at Rs 239 per share, JK Tyre Industries traded up 1%, Ceat traded higher by 3% at Rs 1,774 per.

Balkrishna Industries Ltd is currently trading at Rs 2235, up by Rs 155.8 or 7.49% from its previous closing of Rs 2079.2 on the BSE.

MRF Ltd is currently trading at Rs 69135.9, up by Rs 1392.45 or 2.06% from its previous closing of Rs 67743.45 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs 67400 and has touched a high and low of Rs 69600 and Rs 67400 respectively.

CEAT Ltd is currently trading at Rs 1767, up by Rs 50.7 or 2.95% from its previous closing of Rs 1716.3 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs 1741 and has touched a high and low of Rs 1792.15 and Rs 1690 respectively.

Apollo Tyres Ltd is currently trading at Rs 238.75, up by Rs 7.3 or 3.15% from its previous closing of Rs 231.45 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs 234.9 and has touched a high and low of Rs 241.1 and Rs 231.5 respectively.

TVS Srichakra Ltd is currently trading at Rs 3283.6, up by Rs 125.05 or 3.96% from its previous closing of Rs 3158.55 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs 3200 and has touched a high and low of Rs 3351 and Rs 3139.95 respectively.
