Spot rubber continued to rule firm on Thursday on rumours that the global indices will regain strength shortly. RSS-4 improved to ₹122 (121.50) a kg, according to traders and the Rubber Board.
In futures, the May series improved to ₹122.65 (121.89), June to ₹126.84 (125.86), July to ₹129.24 (128.14) and August to ₹129.49 (129.42)on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE). RSS-3 (spot) firmed up to ₹118.71 (117.71) at Bangkok. May futures slid to ₹109.50 (109.60) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM). Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 122 (121.50); RSS-5: 119.50 (119); ISNR 20: 115.50 (115) and Latex (60% drc): 85.50 (85.50).
