Spot rubber finished firm on Friday. RSS-4 improved to ₹122.50 (122) a kg, according to traders and the Rubber Board. The grade was quoted marginally higher at ₹118.50 (118) by dealers. In futures, the May series weakened to ₹122.40 (122.73), June to ₹126 (126.82) and July to ₹128.10 (129.12) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE). RSS-3 (spot) slid to ₹118.03 (118.71) at Bangkok. May futures improved to ₹110.25 (109.50) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM). Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 122.50 (122); RSS-5: 120 (119.50); ISNR 20: 116.50 (115.50) and Latex (60% drc): 85.50 (85.50).
