India: Spot rubber ends higher

Spot rubber finished higher on Wednesday. RSS-4 improved to ₹130 from ₹129 and ₹129.50 a kg, respectively, according to traders and the Rubber Board. The grade firmed up to ₹126 (125.50), according to dealers. The volumes continued to remain low. RSS-4 concluded at its August futures at ₹131.52 (131.46) and September at ₹130.61 (131.21) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE). RSS-3 (spot) weakened to ₹103.74 (104.03) at Bangkok. Its July futures improved to ₹100.05 (99.70) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM). Spot rubber rates (₹/kg) were: RSS-4: 130 (129); RSS-5: 127.50 (127); ISNR 20: 129 (128.50) and Latex (60% drc): 82 (82).
