FRANKFURT (Reuters) – The euro zone’s adjusted current account surplus remained unchanged at 24 billion euros in June as the surpluses on goods and services trade were both broadly in line with figures in May, data from the European Central Bank showed on Friday.

The 19-member bloc’s current account surplus over the past 12 months rose to 3.6 percent of gross domestic product from 3.2 percent in the 12 months to June 2017, confounding the ECB’s own forecasts for a narrowing of the gap.
