Kenyan shilling slightly firmer on remmittances, thin dollar demandNAIROBI: The Kenyan shilling was slightly firmer against the dollar on Thursday, helped by inflows from remittances and muted demand from importers, traders said.

At 0835 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 100.90/101.00 per dollar compared with 100.95/101.05 at Wednesday’s close.
