KARACHI: Gold prices on Tuesday receded from the record highs on the local market, traders said. They dropped by Rs850 to Rs168800 per tola and Rs729 to Rs144719 per 10 grams.
Gold prices on the world market were quoted for $1787 per ounce. Silver prices stayed firm at all-time highs of Rs1970 per tola and Rs1688.95 per 10 grams, traders said.
