KARACHI: On Wednesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 15.627 billion and the number of lots traded at 14,096. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to (PKR 3.897 billion), followed by Crude Oil (PKR 2.894 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 1.992 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.682 billion), Natural Gas (PKR 1.298 billion), DJ (PKR 1.272 billion), Silver (PKR 818.613 million), Platinum (PKR 581.144 million), SP 500 (PKR 564.242 million), JPY Equity (PKR 397.840 million) and Copper (PKR 227.921 million). In Agricultural commodities, 45 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 43.056 million were traded.
