Yokohama is participating at the Gravity Show for the first time where it will be showcasing its partnership with internationally renowned automotive tuners Liberty Walk.
The Gravity Show, which takes place at the NEC on August 24th and 25th, is the UK’s largest modified and supercar show and attracts more than 30,000 passionate automotive enthusiasts.
Yokohama will have its own branded area on the very popular Liberty Walk stand along with a selection of high-performance tyres on display. Three stunning cars – a Nissan R35 GTR with ADVAN livery, a Ferrari F430 Liberty Walk, and a Japanese R34 Super Silhouette ADVAN – will also be sporting Yokohama tyres so enthusiasts can see how good they look in their natural setting.
Marisa Hever-Smith, Managing Director at Yokohama UK, said: “Liberty Walk, the vision of Wataru Kato, is world-renowned as one of the biggest names in automotive tuning.
“Their supercar creations receive respect and admiration in equal measure and we’re very excited to partner with them at the Gravity Show.”
Jimmy Pearson from Liberty Walk said: “We’re really looking forward to the Gravity Show and welcoming Yokohama onto our stand as part of our partnership.”
Among the Yokohama road-legal, high-performance tyres on display at the Gravity Show are the ADVAN A052 and ADVAN Neova AD09.
The A052 is a track ready tyre which gives drivers the quickest of lap times with unprecedented levels of grip in both dry and wet conditions, together with improved fuel efficiency.
It is available in a wide range of sizes from 13” to 20” and features an asymmetric tread pattern to deliver powerful cornering capability, efficient heat dissipation, enhanced straightline stability and superior anti-hydroplaning.
Meanwhile, the AD09 is ideal for custom tuned cars and is available in sizes from 17” to 21”.
At the time of its launch, the AD09 achieved the highest level of casing rigidity in Yokohama’s history, helping to further improve grip and stability during high-speed cornering.
