ETB Wholesale is strengthening its status as one of the biggest regional tyre operators in the UK, after opening two new distribution centres in Mid Wales and Worcestershire.
The ambitious business has bolstered its presence with sites in Llansamlet and Redditch, both stocking in the region of 5,000 tyres.
They become ETB Wholesale’s eighth and ninth centres, with Bridgend, Cardiff, Chepstow, Exeter, Plymouth, St. Austell and Worcester already catering for its customers in the Midlands, Wales, the South West and Cornwall.
As is the case with all sites, both Llansamlet and Redditch will offer same-day tyre deliveries, with a ‘rapid response’ on-demand service in selected areas.
And in a further commitment to superior service levels, ETB Wholesale has also announced the appointment of Gareth Thomas as the new Accounts Manager for its Bridgend centre.
Sales Director Paul Carter said: “We’ve made incredible progress in 2024, stocking more tyre brands and serving more customers than ever before. Our online ordering system has also been simplified, while we’ve been investing in our teams to become an even more efficient operation.”
“We’ve also been identifying areas to supplement our existing presence and both Llansamlet and Redditch are ideal locations for us. They will allow us to increase our deliveries towards Tenby, Narbeth and Cardigan, not to mention customers in the North Worcestershire area, respectively.”

Meanwhile, Gareth Thomas is also making his presence felt at ETB Wholesale’s Bridgend distribution centre as accounts manager.
The 33-year-old brings a wealth of hands-on experience from multiple roles within the business, making him the perfect fit to meet the needs of existing and new customers.
A Bridgend resident, Gareth is no stranger to the local customer network and has spent his career honing his skills across a variety of positions. Starting as a driver, he moved through the ranks to work in the warehouse, before stepping up to managerial and assistant managerial roles.
He said: “I’ve always believed in pushing myself and taking on new challenges. This role allows me to ensure prompt, efficient deliveries and taking the weight off by meeting the needs of more contacts at an extremely busy period.”
