Premium tyre manufacturer Hankook is extending its offering for light commercial vehicles with the new Vantra Transit. Specially designed for transporters and small vans, the stand out features of this summer tyre are high mileage, reliable safety and low rolling resistance. This new tyre development is Hankook’s response to the increasing use of commercial vehicles with a gross vehicle weight of up to seven and a half metric tons for delivery purposes, a segment which grew by 15 percent throughout Europe in 2024.
The Vantra Transit combines innovative technologies with a robust construction. Its optimised tread design and wider tread reduce wear and increase mileage by up to 18 percent compared with its predecessor, while the innovative tread compound reduces rolling resistance by 15 percent compared with conventional tyres in the light commercial vehicle segment, saving commercial clients money on tyre changes and fuel. In addition, the reinforced carcass structure enables a high load capacity, ideal for use on fully laden vehicles. Thanks to its deformation resistant 3D GripControl sipes, the Vantra Transit also cuts braking distances by an impressive 9 percent and boosts stability on wet surfaces by 13 percent.

The Hankook Vantra Transit is available now in 32 sizes from 13 to 17 inches.
