East China toluene inventory rises 8% on month in July to 92,000 mt


Toluene inventory in East stood at 92,000 on 31, up 8.24% from the end of , S&P Global Platts data showed Tuesday.

The rise in inventory was due to an increase in imported cargoes and slower draw on stocks, a market source said.

A total of 32,858 mt of imported volumes from , , and the had arrived at Zhangjiagang as of July 31 while the draw on stocks in recent weeks stood at 8,000-10,000 mt, compared with the usual 20,000 mt per week, the source added.

The last time inventory was above 90,000 mt was on May 7, Platts data showed.
