OSLO: Swedish oil firm Lundin Petroleum drilled a dry well in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea, southwest of the Edvard Grieg field, the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate said on Tuesday.
Lundin holds a 50 percent stake in the licence while other shareholders include OMV (20 percent), Statoil (15 percent) and BASF subsidiary Wintershall (15 percent).
