Spot rubber declined on buyer resistance amidst scattered selling from certain dealers and growers. RSS 4 was quoted weak at ₹126 (₹127) a kg by traders. The grade dropped to ₹127 (₹127.50) and ₹124(₹124.50) respectively, according to the Rubber Board and dealers. July futures declined to ₹123.99 (₹124.25), August to ₹124.60 (₹125.02), September to ₹123.40 (₹124.39) and October to ₹124 (₹125.65) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) dropped to ₹107.68 (₹108.48) at Bangkok. July futures closed at ¥200.4 (₹103.96) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 126 (127); RSS-5: 122.50 (126); Ungraded: 111 (114); ISNR 20: 116 (117) and Latex (60% drc): 115 (116).
