Spot rubber prices were down on Tuesday on buyer resistance following the overall declines in domestic futures. RSS 4 weakened to ₹124 (₹125) a kg, according to traders.
The grade slid to ₹125 (₹125.50) and ₹122 (₹122.50) respectively, according to the Rubber Board and the dealers. July futures declined to ₹122.50 (₹124.47), August to ₹123 (₹124.92) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) improved to ₹105.06 (₹104.60) at Bangkok. July futures closed at ¥193 (₹99.17) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 124 (125); RSS-5: 122.50 (123); Ungraded: 110 (110); ISNR 20: 113 (114) and Latex (60% drc): 110 (113).
