HANOI (July 15): Vietnam’s rubber exports in the first six months of 2015 rose 22 percent from the same period last year to an estimated 421,300 tonnes, the Vietnam Customs said on Wednesday.
Revenue from the six-month shipment dipped 5.2 percent from a year ago to $139.36 million, the Finance Ministry-run department said in its report.
Vietnam is the world’s third-largest natural rubber producer after Thailand and Indonesia, while it is the fourth-largest exporter after Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia.
