HONG KONG: Shares in Hong Kong rose 0.62 percent Thursday morning, tracking gains on mainland markets and following an almost one percent drop in the previous session.
The benchmark Hang Seng index added 156.27 points to 25,438.89 on turnover of HK$ 44.05 billion (US$ 5.68 billion).
