Spot rubber prices finished weak on Friday. The market lost ground on buyer resistance following the moderate losses in the domestic futures and global trendsetters. RSS 4 declined to ₹124.50 (₹125.50) a kg according to traders and the Rubber Board. The grade dropped to ₹122.50 (₹123.50) according to dealers. August futures weakened to ₹123 (₹124.79), September to ₹123.21 (₹124.54) and October to ₹123 (₹124.41) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) dropped to ₹106.02 (₹106.98) at Bangkok. July futures closed at ¥194.1 (₹100.22) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates ₹/ kg were: RSS-4: 124.50 (125.50); RSS-5: 122 (123); Ungraded: 110 (111); ISNR 20: 111.50 (111.50) and Latex (60% drc): 105 (107).
