SHANGHAI: Shanghai stocks ended Thursday’s morning session marginally lower, taking a breather after surging 3.44 percent the previous day, dealers said.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index dipped 1.68 points to 3,787.49.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China’s second exchange, edged down 0.12 percent, or 2.59 points, to 2,196.22.
