HONG KONG: Hong Kong stocks closed 0.91 percent lower on Monday, as investors reacted to data showing a manufacturing decline in China and following weak earnings reports from Wall Street.
The benchmark Hang Seng index eased 224.86 points to 24,411.42 on turnover of HK$ 79.54 billion (US$ 10.26 billion).
