Spot rubber made further declines in the absence of genuine buyers. RSS 4 weakened to Rs119 (Rs121) a kg, according to traders. The grade surrendered to Rs120 (Rs121.50) and Rs117 (Rs118.50) respectively, according to the Rubber Board and the dealers. August futures dropped to Rs118 (Rs120.57), September to Rs118 (Rs119.79) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) slipped to Rs101.26 (Rs102.69) at Bangkok. August futures closed at ¥188.3 (Rs97.11) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates (Rs/kg): RSS-4: 119 (121); RSS-5: 117 (118.50); Ungraded: 105 (106); ISNR 20: 107 (109) and Latex 60%: 97 (100).
