CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mixed in early trading Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for September delivery rose 2.50 cents to $ 5.0940 a bushel; December corn was 1.5 cents higher at $ 3.82 a bushel; December oats were .50 cent lower at $ 2.4440 bushel; while November soybeans gained 14.50 cents to 9.58 cents a bushel.
Beef mixed and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle was .03 cent lower at $ 1.4883 a pound; August feeder cattle was .03 cent higher at $ 2.1500 a pound; October lean hogs gained .38 cent to $ .6483 a pound.
