Goodyear UK has announced the launch of a seasonal advertising campaign for its award-winning all season tyre, Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3.
The advert marks a step up in the ongoing TV advertising investment for Goodyear in the UK, with a campaign set to reach 50 million impressions across UK drivers, including viewers on Quest, DMAX, Discovery Turbo, Eurosport and Food Network.
The advert demonstrates the Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3’s performance on roads in all four seasons, highlighting the product’s strengths across a full range of typical UK weather conditions.
In a recent report by the European Tyre & Rubber Manufacturers Association (ETRMA), the all-season segment is currently the fastest growing in the market. In the last seven years, the average year-on-year growth rate has stood at 21.7%. One of the contributing factors is that an increasing number of premium car manufacturers are deciding to equip their vehicles with all-season tyres or make them available to the customer as an optional feature.
Ready for all seasons
Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 carries the Three Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMSF) symbol, meaning it can deliver performance in ice, slush and snow.
Packed with the latest technology, including Goodyear’s Aqua Control Technology, Dry Handling Technology and Snow Grip Technology, the tyre is available in a wide range of sizes to fit 14” to 22” wheels, covering the majority of the country’s vehicles from compact hatchbacks to performance and luxury cars.
Andy Marfleet, Marketing Director UK&I, Goodyear, commented: “It’s great to see Goodyear on our TV screens as we continue the promotion for Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3. As the weather gets colder, Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 can make the difference, providing enhanced grip, performance and confidence to drivers.
“In tyre performance tests, it stands out among the competition for its economic and environmental credentials, low rolling resistance, and balanced performance all year round.”
This month, the tyre was rated as ‘highly recommended’ by Tyre Reviews.
