Spot rubber prices continued to remain weak on Thursday. RSS 4 declined to Rs 115 (Rs 116) a kg, as reported by the traders. The grade dropped to Rs 115.50 (Rs 116) and Rs 112.50 (Rs 113) respectively, according to the Rubber Board and the dealers. September futures declined to Rs 112.55 (Rs 114.78), October to Rs 112.69 (Rs 114.37) and November to Rs 113.72 (Rs 115.45) for RSS 4 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) weakened to Rs 93.31 (Rs 94.75) at Bangkok. August futures closed at ¥171.5 (Rs 90.66) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates (Rs /kg): RSS-4: 115 (116); RSS-5: 110(111); Ungraded: 100 (101); ISNR 20: 102 (102) and Latex (60% drc): 80 (80).
