HONG KONG: Hong Kong stocks fell 2.32 percent by the break Friday, extending early losses after a survey showed Chinese manufacturing at a 77-month low and following a global sell-off in equities.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index lost 527.41 points to 22,230.06 by the end of morning trading on turnover of HK$ 60.95 billion (US$ 7.86 billion).
