HONG KONG: Hong Kong stocks rose 2.53 percent by the break on Thursday, swept up in a rally across Asia after hints the US Federal Reserve will not raise interest rates next month boosted shares.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index added 533.09 points to 21,613.48 by the end of morning trading on turnover of HK$ 55.98 billion ($ 7.22 billion).
