Spot rubber continued to remain neutral on Thursday. Declines in the global trendsetters kept it under pressure during closing hours but the prices managed to sustain at the prevailing levels following a moderate recovery in domestic futures. RSS 4 closed unchanged at ₹112 a kg, according to traders and the Rubber Board. The grade was quoted steady at ₹109 (109.50) by the dealers. October futures improved to ₹114.11 (112.65), November to ₹113.51 (111.98), December to ₹114.15 (112.41) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) declined to ₹87.42 (89.40) at Bangkok. September futures recovered partially to ¥ 155.6 (₹86.15) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 112 (112); RSS-5: 109 (109); Ungraded: 99 (99); ISNR 20: 99.50 (99.50) and Latex (60% drc): 82.50 (82.50).
