Spot rubber showed a mixed trend on Monday. RSS 4 improved marginally to ₹112.50 (₹112) a kg, according to traders. The grade closed unchanged at ₹112.50 and ₹109.50 as quoted by the Rubber Board and the dealers. Most counters finished flat amidst scattered transactions in a comparatively dull trading session. October futures slid to ₹114.15 (₹114.45) while the November futures firmed up to ₹114.29 (₹113.80) and December to ₹114.50 (₹113.92) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) inched up to ₹87.91 (₹87.33) at Bangkok. October futures closed at ¥158.0 (₹86.88) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates ₹/ kg were: RSS-4: 112.50 (112); RSS-5: 109.50 (109); Ungraded: 99 (99); ISNR 20: 99.50 (99.50) and Latex (60% drc): 82.50 (82.50).
