Spot rubber prices showed a mixed trend on Wednesday. RSS 4 continued to remain unchanged at ₹112.50 a kg, according to traders and the Rubber Board. The grade was quoted steady at ₹109.50 by dealers. Meanwhile, the remaining counters including latex finished firm with marginal gains on supply concerns but the overall volumes were extremely low. October futures closed at ₹114.32 (₹113.97) November at ₹ 114 (₹113.62), December at ₹114 (₹114.14) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) slid to ₹86.57 (₹86.94) at Bangkok. October futures closed at ¥153 (₹83.54) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 112.50 (112.50); RSS-5: 110.50 (110.50); Ungraded: 101 (99); ISNR 20: 100.50 (99.50) and Latex (60% drc): 83.50 (82.50).
