China Petroleum and Chemical Corp., or Sinopec, raised its central China toluene ex-factory prices by Yuan 150-200/mt, or 2.8%-3.7%, on Thursday, an industry source said.
China participants returned to the market Thursday after a week of public holidays.
Sinopec’s central China subsidiaries in Changlin and Wuhan are now offering toluene at Yuan 5,600-5,650/mt or about $702.39-$706.94/mt on an import-parity basis, up from Yuan 5,450/mt.
