Spot rubber showed a mixed trend. The market opened steady but lost the initial strength in most counters tracking the overall weakness in the domestic and global trendsetters. The trend was partially mixed. RSS 4 was quoted steady at ₹114 a kg by traders and the Rubber Board.
The grade closed unchanged ₹111, according to dealers. November futures weakened to ₹112.82 (113.10), December to ₹112 (112.55) and January to ₹112.20 (112.50) a kg on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) slid to ₹83.36 (84) at Bangkok. November futures declined to ¥ 146 (₹78.81) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange.
