OTR tyre manufacturer, Netherlands based Magna Tyres will be returning as an exhibitor at The Tire Cologne show in Germany in June.
The Magna Tyres sales team will be showcasing a range of their popular tyres covering the mining, earthmover, industrial, port handling, crane and agricultural industries and highlighting two of their latest additions to their product portfolio – the recently introduced M-Truck tyre series and Magna’s own TPMS system.
The Magna M-Truck has been specifically designed for use on all trucking, haulage, tanker and trailer applications in a choice of steer, drive, all position and trailer applications in long haul, regional and construction operations. The range includes an impressive steel belted casing with a special rubber compound which ensures high resistance levels against punctures and other field hazards.
The M-Truck tread pattern guarantees outstanding field and road traction performance whilst effectively reducing vibration when driven at road speed. The tyres provides high grip levels on all types of road surfaces through first class self-cleaning capabilities. A presentation of the M-Truck range will be available to view, currently offering eight pattern options: RG10 – RG11 – RG20 – RG30 – RG31 – CO10 – C020 and CO30. Each pattern has it’s own innovative features and benefits for use in a variety of industrial applications.
Magna Tyres will also be using this year’s event to highlight for the first time in Europe, the company’s own exclusive TPMS System which provides real-time tyre pressure and temperature monitoring, with alerts on moderate and extreme readings on a 24/7 basis, even when the machine is unpowered.
The system also permits users to swiftly react to situations in the field by identifying problems and offering a prompt solution. Automatic emails of required actions can be sent from the system and easily linked to a desktop version or mobile app (IOS/Android) and include GPS location tracking of the TPMS, the distance travelled, and hours used for tyre usage statistics.
Additional benefits include specialised valve sensors that continuously measure all the information needed for a smooth operation, including pressure, heat, speed and distance. The Magna Gateway is the beating heart of information gathered by the sensors and through the CAN-bus, collected and transmitted in real-time.
The system monitors every move and statistic of a fleet, when or wherever in the world it is operating, reducing downtime and improving efficiency allowing fleet managers to oversee maintenance and detect early issues. Demonstrations of Magna’s TPMS System will be available at the stand.
