After Amazon discouraged PowerPoint presentations, Microsoft went underground as to why the software was being rejected. With the passage of time they uncovered the reasons which were monotony and same limited knowledge of the software resulting in boring presentations.
Despite decent graphics and templates tools available, PowerPoint was found out to be boring to work upon. Limited knowledge plays a major part, as people continue to do same thing; make bullets and paste pictures on same landscape we have come to know since first PowerPoint.
However all this is going to change as Microsoft plans to launch Office 2016. PowerPoint will open up to two new features ‘Designer and Morph’. Technodoze describes ‘Designer’ as slide handler which can easily control, modify and suggest slide outlook, layout and designs. However it needs an internet connection to operate.
Meanwhile ‘Morph’ is described as ‘help’ in creating complex animations for users who are unfamiliar with the tools. It requires two distinct slides and changes moving slip parts that are distinct about and by fading. If there is a graph that occupies the full-size of a single slip which is subsequently half the size in another one, it wills reduce to changeover between them both. Morph is an efficient approach to inject animations into PowerPoint demonstrations.
Business Insider reported that the new Word 2016 lets users collaborate with each other directly from within the document, Google Apps-style. Meanwhile, a new integration with Skype for Business in all of the desktop Office apps means that it’s a lot easier to stream your screen to a colleague or just start a video chat.
Furthermore, the easiest way to obtain Office 2016 is to subscribe to Office 365.
