China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation, or Sinopec, has lowered its ex-works orthoxylene price in East China by Yuan 150/mt ($19.60/mt) effective Tuesday, market sources said.
Yangzi-BASF and Sinopec Zhenhai, the company’s subsidiaries in East China, are now offering OX at Yuan 5,200/mt, equivalent to about $680/mt on an import parity basis, sources said.
