Missouri injection molding and precision machining company Burger & Brown Engineering Inc. has completed a building expansion that increases its manufacturing floor space by 60 percent.
Founded in 1978 in Kansas, Burger & Brown Engineering moved to its current location in Grandview, Mo., in 2005. The expansion adds 20,000 square feet to the company’s existing 30,000-square-foot facility.
The company plans to add machinery to support its Smartflow line of accessories for mold builders, along with injection molding, CNC milling, engineering and other operations, a news release indicates. Current departments will also be arranged to improve workflow, a company representative noted.
A ribbon cutting ceremony is set for Jan. 7.
