Spot rubber was weak on Wednesday as the market continued to remain under pressure on buyer resistance. RSS 4 declined to ₹95 (₹96) a kg, according to traders. The grade weakened to ₹95 (₹95.50) and ₹92 (₹92.50) respectively, according to the Rubber Board and the dealers.
February futures concluded at ₹96.78 (₹97.26), March at ₹98.90 (₹98.92) and April at ₹101.49 (₹101.15) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) dropped to ₹86.12 (₹87.06) at Bangkok.
February futures closed at ¥149.7 (₹86.13) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 95 (96); RSS-5: 91 (91.50); Ungraded: 85 (85) ISNR 20: 84 (84); and Latex (60% drc):80(80).
