Spot rubber turned weak on talks that the Centre could not allow ₹500 crore from price stabilisation fund to help the growers. RSS 4 declined to ₹107 from ₹109 and ₹108 a kg respectively, according to traders and the Rubber Board.
The grade dropped to ₹104 (₹105) . March futures weakened to ₹105.10 (₹107.07), April to ₹108.02 (₹110.13), May to ₹110.23 (₹112.49) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) slipped to ₹98.12 (₹99.91) at Bangkok. March futures closed at ¥ 159 (₹95.04) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange.
