Spot rubber made all-round gains on Wednesday. Certain tyre companies were buyers up to ₹113 a kg for RSS 4 but there were no quantity sellers in the market even at the prevailing levels. RSS 4 improved to ₹115 from ₹114 and ₹114.50 a kg respectively, according to traders and the Rubber Board. The grade firmed up to ₹112 (111.50) as reported by the dealers. April futures slid to ₹118 (118.35), May to ₹119.01 (119.51) and June to ₹119.92 (120.11) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) weakened to ₹100.85 (101.07) a kg at Bangkok. April futures firmed up to ¥171.2 (₹101.14) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange.
