Maguire Products Inc. Steve Maguire launched Maguire Products Inc. with the gravimetric blender.
Auxiliary equipment maker Maguire Products Inc. will ship the 50,000th Maguire gravimetric blender in the coming months — and the company is kicking off its year-long celebration at Chinaplas, at Booth E7K21.
Maguire President and Founder Steve Maguire developed the first gravimetric batch blender in 1989. A gravimetric batch blender sequentially dispenses each ingredient into a weigh chamber. By monitoring the gain in weight of a batch, the blender control makes adjustments to subsequent batches, maintaining accuracy and controls the consumption of raw materials.
One Chinaplas exhibit will be a unique copper-plated version of Maguire’s Microblender, the smallest model in the blender range.
