Spot rubber showed a mixed trend on Thursday. RSS 4 was quoted unchanged at ₹120 a kg by traders. The grade improved further to ₹120 (119) and ₹117 (116) respectively, according to Rubber Board and the April futures firmed up to ₹124.50 (121.82), May to ₹125.24 (123.64) and June to ₹125.69 (124.03) a kg on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) improved sharply to ₹107.47 (104.27) a kg at Bangkok. April futures firmed up to ¥177 (₹108.64) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 120 (120); RSS-5: 117.50 (117); Ungraded: 112 (111); ISNR 20: 115 (114) and Latex (60% drc): 93.50 (93.50).
