Quaker Window Products Co. Quaker Window Products Co.’s new vinyl window plant in Vienna, Mo.
Quaker Window Products Co. is increasing production of its vinyl profiles with a new 185,000-square-foot manufacturing plant in Vienna, Mo., which is about 2 miles from its headquarters in Freeburg.
Founded in 1949, the company had its vinyl, aluminum and wood operations at the main campus while a 65,000-square-foot glass manufacturing and tempering facility was located in Vienna, which is considered the company’s south campus.
Vinyl production, which started in 1985, now has been moved to a second building in Vienna that employs about 200 people, according to a report on NewsTribune.com.
“This new facility combines the quality and craftsmanship that Quaker is known for with state-of-the-art automation and robotics,” the company said in a news release. “The facility was designed and built in order to meet the growing demand for Quaker’s vinyl window and door products from all over the United States.”
Quaker’s vinyl lines include Manchester, Crusader and AdvantEdge. The company does business as Quaker Windows & Doors.
In all, Quaker has about 650 employees who make between 1,500 and 2,000 vinyl, aluminum and wood windows and doors daily.
