Spot rubber finished firm catalysed by the global gains on Friday. RSS 4 improved further to ₹141 from ₹140 and ₹139 a kg, respectively according to traders and the Rubber Board.
The grade quoted higher at ₹138 (₹136) by dealers. May futures slid to ₹146.50 (₹146.61) while the June futures inched up to ₹147.10 (₹146.52) and July to ₹146.25 (₹145.72) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange.
RSS 3 (spot) firmed up to ₹120 (₹118.76) at Bangkok. April futures closed at ¥193.5 (116.39) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates ₹/ kg were: RSS-4: 141 (140); RSS-5: 138 (137); Ungraded: 128 (128); ISNR 20: 129 (126) and Latex (60% drc): 115 (111).
