Spot rubber showed a mixed trend on Monday. RSS 4 quoted at an unchanged ₹135.00 a kg, according to traders. The grade improved to ₹135.00 (₹134.00) and ₹132.00 (₹131.00) per kg respectively, according to Rubber Board and dealers. Sentiments were partially bullish and volumes low.
May futures slid to ₹134.40 (₹35.84), June to ₹136.20 (₹137.42), July to ₹137.59 (₹138.38) and August to ₹137.00 (₹137.21) per kg on National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
RSS 3 declined at its May futures to ¥175.5 (₹108.07) from ¥178.9 (₹110.16) per kg during the day, but finished marginally higher at ¥175.7 (₹108.19) per kg on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM).
Spot rubber rates per kg were — RSS-4: ₹135.00 (₹135.00); RSS-5: ₹133.00 (₹132.00); Ungraded: ₹120.00 (₹118.00); ISNR 20: ₹123.00 (₹122.00); and Latex (60% drc): ₹104.50 (₹103.50).
