Spot rubber was steady on Thursday. RSS 4 closed unchanged at ₹127 a kg, according to traders. The trade improved to ₹127.50 (127) and ₹124.50 (124), according to Rubber Board and the dealers. The trend was partially mixed as latex continued to remain under pressure on low demand. June futures firmed up to ₹130.81 (125.97), July to ₹131 (126.19), August to ₹130.75 (125.82) and September to ₹129.50 (127.08) a kg on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) slid to ₹104.42 (104.72) at Bangkok. June futures improved to ¥162.1 (₹98.92) a kg on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 127 (127); RSS-5: 123 (123); Ungraded: 105 (105); ISNR 20: 109 (109) and Latex (60% drc): 96 (97).
