KOTTAYAM, MAY 31:
Spot rubber turned better on Tuesday. RSS 4 improved to ₹128.50 (₹128) a kg, according to traders. The grade quoted higher at ₹125.50 (₹125), according to dealers. The trend was partially mixed as latex finished flat on low demand. June futures weakened to ₹128.55 (₹129.36), July to ₹130.07 (₹130.68), August to ₹130 (₹130.84) and September to ₹129.15 (₹132.14) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) firmed up to ₹104.55 (₹104.03) at Bangkok. June futures closed at ¥159.5 (₹96.60) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates ₹/ kg follow: RSS-4: 128.50 (128); RSS-5: 125 (124); Ungraded: 106 (105); ISNR 20: 110.50 (109) and Latex (60% drc): 96 (96).
