Spot rubber continued to rule firm on Tuesday. RSS 4 improved to ₹135 (₹134) a kg, according to traders. The grade firmed up to ₹133 (₹132) and ₹130 (₹129) respectively, according to the Rubber Board and dealers. The trend was mixed as ISNR 20 and latex finished flat amidst extremely low volumes. July futures concluded at ₹133.80 (₹133.16), August at ₹131.70 (₹131.31) and September at ₹130.20 (₹129.62) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) flared up to ₹105.40 (₹100.99) at Bangkok. June futures improved to ¥163.9 (₹105.73) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 135 (134); RSS-5: 131 (130); Ungraded: 113 (112) ISNR 20: 115 (115) and Latex (60% drc): 100 (100).
