Spot rubber was weak on Tuesday. The most active counters lost ground on buyer resistance following the declines in domestic futures and global trendsetters. RSS 4 slid to ₹121 (₹122) a kg, according to traders. The grade weakened to ₹120 (₹122) and ₹117 (₹119) respectively, according to the Rubber Board and dealers. The trend was mixed. October futures declined to ₹117.25 (₹120.52), November to ₹117.30 (120.42), December to ₹117.51 (₹120.63) and January to ₹120.89 (₹123.29) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) dropped to ₹110.08 (₹110.91) at Bangkok. October futures weakened to ¥169.2 (₹112.02) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates ₹/kg were: RSS-4: 121 (122); RSS-5: 116 (117); Ungraded: 102 (102); ISNR 20: 99 (99) and Latex (60% drc): 77 (77).
