KOTTAYAM, JANUARY 4:
Spot rubber closed unchanged on Wednesday. RSS 4 quoted steady at ₹139 a kg, according to traders. The grade improved to ₹139 (₹138) and ₹136 (₹135) respectively, according to the Rubber Board and dealers.
January futures declined to ₹139.30 (₹142.13), February to ₹143.50 (₹145.55), March to ₹147 (₹148.80) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) firmed up to ₹155.29 (₹152.33) at Bangkok.
January futures improved to ¥271.4 (₹157.24) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber (₹/kg): RSS-4: 139 (139); RSS-5: 130 (130); Ungraded: 117 (117); ISNR 20: 126 (124.50) and Latex (60% drc): 83.50 (83.50).
